I see you are online and wondered how you are doing? I understand from Jo that the cyclone did not hit your area but it sounds like it was still quite close. Hope you are well.
Liz Alpert Fay has just been approved on this website - when I suggested that she add some photo's of her work, I noticed that the word "Photos" on her sidebar is "grey" - checked the pages of a few more newbies and see that it is the same on all of them - is that just because they haven't added anything via their profile/settings page? I was going suggest that we should add a "how to" to the FAQ's as mentioned in the newslwetter and then realized that what I alluded to is not there yet! (lol) we'd better get busy!
Hi Judi - I helped Jacqui Thomson get signed in while I was in Milton - we had problems uploading her photograph though - when I get home I'll tell you what we did and maybe you can explain where we went wrong (lol) Jo
I have just posted something in the Dye Pot Group - I should check out who I purchased it from and add to your "I recommend group" Ingrid is from Canada - I hope I haven't messed up the spelling of her name. I know a lot of suppliers in the States carry this product. Will add some of the names to your list. Cheers Jo
Jo is right about the description of ATC's and Anne Boissinot and Kim Dubay are both working on promoting them.... Kim will have an article in Rug Hooking Magazine June/July/August issue... follow online as they have a quesiton about ATC's on the site I think now... which leads me into ... I love the title Kup Karpets and with your approval want to use that in lieu of Mug Rugs which I hate (well at least dislike) and I have been referring to small mats as "mini mats" .... seems to give them more "value" similar to a mini quilt. How do the quilters get to become art and ruggers are still considered household items???? We have to work on this image. Later
