    Thanks for sending the info on October's class, Josephine. I've been wanting to learn this technique, so this'll be perfect timing. And adding in an eco dyed component - exciting. I admire your work, & it'll be lovely to meet you. What a fine time we'll have in Victoria.

    G'day Jo , hope you are well and had a good time up North. Have discovered today that I don't need to be back in UK till end of March ...so MIGHT have time to meet up on West Coast...still hatching plans,though. Love , Sue

    Hi Jo , thanks for getting back so soon. I'm at a church thing 21 to 23 Feb , then the Adelaide Festival runs 28th Feb to 16th March. It is a bit like our Edinburgh Festival , I think. A Fringe activity might be fun , with involvement by the public / upcycling/ and info about Guild / groups etc... Not sure what the Local Ruggers were planning .dont wish to barge in if stuff already organised. I see that there is an opportunity for artists to apply online. What does Judith think ? Maybe Miriam and Jaqui have plans ??
    I'm trying to see when I'm needed back in UK for this Dementia Symposium ..but I like the sound of travelling about in Aus to meet up with you all again.

    Hello Jo , I just love that phrase " all rugged up " how appropriate and it not one that we use in UK , I even read it in a Aus book last night. Well , they promise us 10 degrees but rain for the rest. Of week . Down the road it still un thawed snow and now the grass is not growing to feed the new lambs...
    Have just been to meet with the Community Engagement Officer of our local Art Gallery with a view to large scale textile stuff as part of Mintfest in Sept. Possibly dressing trees with fabric coils ?? Big colourful bracelets round the trunks ...who knows . Best Wishes , Sue

    G'day Jo!

    I put a quick note on my name tag..It's about 5inches x 6inches...I wanted to see if I do something with lettering but this isn't wonderful (Ah well)...I just thought if I went anywhere with rug stuff my name tag should be an example....I think I'll bmake anotther . I inherited a heap of rug wool (9 ply) from a friend who brought it from England in about 1960...only 4 colours but I really like the wool.

    Thanks for your quick response. Of course the timing is not critical. I only wanted to bring it to someone's attention in case it had just been overlooked. You are doing a wonderful job with all the ways everyone is able to communicate. Keep up the good work.
