Hello to all my friends at TIGHR - I've just renewed my membership for this next term in Ontario, Canada.
Had a trip down memory lane looking at the image on the "members' only" sign-in page with the stairway full of TIGHR members - I took that…

Thanks, Jo. It will take me a while to learn how to navigate my way around the site, but I will persevere. It's so nice to see the names and faces from past TIGHR conferences. What a great way to keep in touch for those 3 long years between meeting again. I'm anxoius to check it out and see what everybody is doing.
Thanks!

Saturday morning:
Dear Jo - I got home without incident Friday morning after, what seemed, a very long flight. No sleeping this time, which left me fairly groggy all day. (But I did watch several movies.) Am up this morning and feeling better ... drinking my Australian Madura tea while waiting on Miriam's cheese scones to come out of the oven. I thought our day in Sydney was just perfect and have good photos from the Powerhouse rug collection, in particular. Thanks again to you and Judy for a wonderful day there. Gene
Thanks Jo, I don't often have time to go on websites but this one is dear to my heart. If your ears were red it's because I was talking about you at Southern McGown Teachers' Workshop last weekk! Now if only I could recall who I was talking to!!!
Thanks for the thoughts! Ului shouldn't pose too many problems for us as such...it's just the collateral wind and rain that we don't need! Won't leave until Friday morning and back sometime Sunday later afternoon (just in time for some more heavy rain!) Ahhhhhggggg! Tried to do some weeding the other day....hah I looked like Pig Pen (from the old Peanuts cartoon)....guess we should shift to growing rice! Later...J
Ok now it works. Mine and Lenny and Mary's faces appear. Your best bet for posting events is to have the person who wants it posted to do just that post it then your phote will not show up.
When you add and event, go to the one you just posted. You should be able to see everyone who is attending, click on the evnt and it should show the guest list on the right. I responded to Sauder and it should have mine picture and anyone else who is attending fase as well.
Hi Jo, The same thing happens on The Welcome Mat. It is because you added the event, you won't be able to undo it. It naturally assumes that you are attending. You see when it is the person's event that is adding it they are more than likely attending. The same thing hold true if you add your name to someone elses event as you are attending, then if you change your mind your name cannot be removed until the event is over and the person who entered the event removes it. Am I making sence......let me know
