Hi from a grey and drizzly May in Cumbria . Just planning a 3 month trip around Australia Nov to Jan and considering where to go / who and what to see..
already have things in place for Strathalbyn and Mollymook ..and very aware that it's busy holiday time for families ..
would it be possible to meet up with fellow Ruggers at all? Jo , there is an overland Camping trip from Adelaide to Perth that looks great . Could I arrange something with you at the Perth end either in Dec or beginning of Jan??
Currently im working a lot on accessible coiling techniques with people who have stroke issues / dementia and the resulting pieces are great fun .
Just saw this question between you two, Barb as the creator of the group you can invite Sue to join. and Sue since I am the creator of the full site I am have a different look to the pages. But I think there is an option for you to join when on the Group page. look around for that wording, or try to make a comment, then I believe you will be asked to join first and Barbara will have to approve you for the comment to be posted.
If neither works get back to me, I can ask for HELP.
I am also confused about how to get you to become a member - but I am leaving town for a couple of weeks and will try to reconnect when I am back. I am also trying to get the tree photo flipped so the tree is upright......arghhhhhhh!
G'day Sue --- Look at you all rugged up - it was over 30C again today here in Perth West Aust (Sunday 4th April) and going to be in the 30's all week - funny weather for Autumn (lol)
I've just joined Barbara's Echidna group - one of these days I'll find a tree to wrap - Judi T had some great results with hers! When the gallery is open on Tues I'll take a pic of "the installation" - I'm dying to show you!
Have you joined the echidnas group yet? We need you to be a member! See if you have received an invitation from me and then accept. I think that is how it is done.
You are most welcome Sue. You say it is cold there! I can see the snow at your left there, and it looks cold by the way you are dressed. Here in Victoria, Canada it is getting warmer and the daffodils, crocus, snowdrops are out telling us spring is here, my garden is anyway. I look forward to your posting pictures of your work too on your 'new' page.
Sue glad we were able to get your membership sorted out. Welcome Back Indeed! Looking forward to your sharing some of your lifestyle and works with us on your page.
Welcome Back! Now that you have a brand new page, enjoy telling us about your world travels. We are also interested in your local lifestyle. Show us some works and contribute to the groups. The tree wrapping one is new and waiting for comments.
See you somewhere and in cyberspace.

By all means, try a silver birch - that is what this experiment is all about. To see how the technique works on trees in many different countries.
