  • Never mind, maybe next time! I've had a lovely time seeing parts of Nova Scotia. I spent most of the day today in Deanne's studio. So much to see on walls, shelves and tabletops. I really had my fibre fix today. Will probably go back again tomorrow, just in case I've missed or forgotten something.
  • Hi Celia, I thought I had replied to your last contact but it appears I haven't . I am in Halifax now and catching the bus to Amherst at 12.00 where I will stay for 3 nights at Browns B & B. I am really looking forward to this as the tour I was on didn't allow for any stops for crafts or rug hooking. Yesterday I visited the National Gallery and saw the house and folk art of Maud Lewis. Loved seeing that. I will be back in Halifax on 30th September for one night.
  • Hi Celia, thank you for your reply. I would love to meet some of your friendly hookers. I'm back from the tour 27th. I haven't booked anything yet after that date but I thought if Deanne's studio was easy to get to I would stay at a B&B near her, lovely to hear from you, Anne
  • Hi Celia, I hope you don't mind me contacting you. I am going to the TIGHR conference in October, prior to that doing a short tour of Nova Scotia ending in Halifax. I will then have a few days on my own, and wondered if you could tell me which is the best way to travel to Amherst from there as I would like to see Deanne Fitzpatrick's studio. I love your rugs, especially your lady with the green hair. Anne, Australia

    G'day!

Susan Feller has asked me to help her find some members who would be willing to dispaly their work on our TIGHR public site...would you be willing to send her a photo of one of your pieces - a favourite perhaps? Just attach a photo to her (send a photo at: rugs2wv@yahoo.com or you can send it to me, judi.tompkins@bigpond.com) and be sure to include information on the designer/hooker, dimensions and the materials you used.

    Many thanks!

    Judi Tompkins (QLD)

  • Hello Ceila. I hope you are coming to Australia in 2012 and we can meet.  I like your work and your colours.  Happy Rugging   Miriam
  • Celia, don't forget to pack Miss Nova's tooth brush and hair brush. No need to put fresh undies in I will wash hers out.....LOL give her a kiss for me.
  • Hi Celia, Hope everything is ok with you after the storm. My mom said she was glad when it was over. It wasn't as bad as the last one. How's Miss Nova doing? I hope the wind didn't blow up her skirt or mess her hair any. I see you have changed the date for your class. Wed is a good one as it is our reg. Hooking Day. Be good to you.
  • Hi Celia
I would be happy to trade. Send me your snail mail address and I will send you an ATC. My address is 27 Freshet Rd., Madbury, NH 03823 USA. Peg
  • Hi Celia, I am going to have a Grand Tea Party for Miss Nova upon her arrival. Her schedule is booked solid up to Christmas and then after February. Happy Hooking. Jan
