  • Hi Susan , thanks for your mail . Life is fairly action packed at the moment..and I spent all that I had on ANOTHER long adventure in Australia ! So , it's highly unlikely that I will be able to attend the next Tighr...it's a shame. I would have loved to have come.
Am currently involved in a lot of Arts and Health sessions ..mostly "in the moment" well-being stuff with people who have Dementia.
But this weekend I'm Demonstrating in a big tent in a muddy field at a Steam Fair. What are you up to these days ?
I often think about you . Regards , Sue
  • Susan, glad to have you as my friend here. And look forward to meeting you at the 2015 TIGHR gathering in Victoria. Maia

  • Hi Susan, I am in the blue coat having my hand kissed by the purple living statue in York England.  What a hoot he was!

  • HI Susan... me again....if you would like me to post some info about the TIGHR Conference on my fb page I would be happy to do so. Maybe pick up a few new members? if I posted a link....what would it be ?

  • Hi Susan

Thanks for pointing out the new group. I look forward to attending the conference.

    Peg

  • Looking forward to seeing you again as well.
The West is wonderful. I will be meeting some of the Victoria and other western hookers at a hook-in in Victoria in January for the first time. I am trying here in the Sunshine Coast to get a group going. Doing lots of networking and teaching some beginner classes! Use your book often.
  • Hi Susan ! I've just noticed the comment about a possible Train expedition from the East Coast to the Conference....although I had originally thought I wouldn't be able to attend...It looks like things have changed !! I would be VERY interested in the train Trip and Tighr 2015 . Will contact you soon X
  • G'day Susan!

Many thanks for putting on the info (under the Newsletters/Education Tab) about the presentations done at both KY and Strathalbyn! Really interesting and very useful!

The TIGHR sites are looking terrific by the way!

    Later...J

  • Susan, love your brilliant colours, and looking forward to puruse the TIGHR site in more detail on my return from Trent University in a week or two. Am taking a weeks hooking course next week and can hardly wait to get started.

  • Wow, Susan. Not only a hooker but an artist too. What beautiful work! As you know, I am new to this group and fairly new to rug hooking as well. While I have been at it for 3 - 4 years, I seem to have had lots of commitments in other areas of my life so haven't produced a whole lot. My greatest pleasure seems to come from creating my own designs, working with color and texture and integrating other mediums into my stuff. I will try to post some pictures when I am back home again. Jane
